As a Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the performance and long-term supportability of complex engineering systems. You'll work at the heart of Integrated Logistics Support, applying reliability, maintainability and availability principles to influence design decisions, reduce risk and maximise operational effectiveness.
Day-to-day, you'll build upon proven communication skills to convey complex technical details to a wide range of stakeholders developing domain knowledge to resolve problems and support the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Function.
Responsibilities:
- Producing reliability, maintainability and availability analysis to support complex systems and assets
- Developing reliability and maintainability performance claims, arguments and supporting evidence in line with defined standards
- Influencing engineering design through modelling and analysis to improve reliability, availability and ease of support
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across engineering, project and customer teams
- Contributing to stakeholder programmes, working groups and continuous improvement activities
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience:
- Proven engineering knowledge and experience within a complex or regulated environment
- Ability to analyse complex engineering problems and present clear, accessible outputs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders positively
- A proactive approach, working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Motivation to own and shape your long-term career development
Qualifications:
- A STEM qualification, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal education
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
