As a Construction Piping Engineer at Hinkley Point C, you will lead piping and mechanical construction work packages to support on-site installation. Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of piping and mechanical construction work packages
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure compliant, construction-ready documentation
- Provide technical guidance to construction personnel for safe and efficient delivery
- Monitor progress against schedules and prioritise key deliverables
- Champion nuclear safety, quality standards and continuous improvement throughout construction
- Support site installation activities and ensure alignment with project milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering mechanical and piping systems on large-scale construction projects
- Experience in highly regulated sectors (nuclear, power generation, oil/gas, defence, rail, or petrochemical)
- Strong understanding of construction work packages, technical documentation and installation processes
- Experience coordinating contractors, engineers and client stakeholders across complex projects
- Knowledge of safe systems of work and commitment to health, safety and quality standards
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain SC security clearance
