Role
As a Rail Track Assistant, you’ll work as part of an experienced operational team delivering track renewal and maintenance works. You’ll support daily site activities, follow safe systems of work, and contribute to keeping the rail network running reliably.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of track renewal and maintenance work on site
- Follow instructions from Supervisors and Senior Track Assistants
- Use tools and small plant equipment safely and correctly
- Carry out general site duties to support rail operations
- Work in line with railway rules, regulations, and health
