Deliver Critical Rail Infrastructure Projects That Keep Communities Moving

The role:

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion. You'll oversee programme performance, manage project resources and budgets, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Day-to-day you'll be required to:

  • Manage multidisciplinary projects to ensure delivery is safe, efficient, on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate project teams, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and milestones.
  • Monitor project performance, risks and financial forecasts, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and governance requirements.

The role is based onsite at Custom House, Belfast, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience of the Project Manager:

  • Proven experience delivering projects within the construction, infrastructure, engineering or rail sectors.
  • Strong project management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, resources and project risks.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
  • Rail industry experience or rail systems engineering knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.

Qualifications for the Project Manager:

  • Qualification in a relevant Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related discipline.
  • NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation.
