As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a new and exciting large-scale nuclear project at the beginning of its lifecycle. This is a rare opportunity to shape a complex programme from the ground up, working within a dynamic team and contributing to the UK\’s clean energy future. Day-to-day, you\’ll
- Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality across the project
- Deliver the project to baseline schedule, cost and performance targets
- Establish and maintain governance arrangements aligned with our Business Management System
- Plan and monitor project profit and loss, and submit Monthly Review Reports
- Manage customer relationships and oversee risk identification, mitigation and issue resolution
This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, based at our Bristol site. Hybrid working patterns are available, with 2-3 days per week expected on site.
Essential experience of the Project Manager
- Demonstrate proven experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industries
- Manage projects with budgets exceeding £10 million
- Apply Earned Value Management techniques to track and optimise performance
Qualifications for the Project Manager
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM)
