The Role

As a PMRO Specialist – Repair and Overhaul within Mission Systems team you’ll be part of an international company that’s continually innovating.

As a PMRO Specialist – Repair and Overhaul, you’ll have a role that’s engaging and challenging. Supporting the work on building and repairing both current and future defence systems within launch and handling systems.

Day-to-day, you’ll contribute to shaping the future of submarine capability within defence. Utilising our track record of innovation, you’ll continually develop your knowledge and expertise in all things Repair/manufacturing too.

This role is full time and is based on site at Ashton Vale, Bristol. The working hours and shift patterns are Monday – Thursday 07:30am – 16:00pm and Friday 07:30am – 12:00pm

Essential experience

  • Preferably, but not essential, a background in manufacturing and Repair and Overhaul.
  • Ability to work autonomously at times but also as part of a larger team.
  • Computer literate and able to pick up new software/ERP (IFS/SAP etc)
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in a manufacturing working environment
  • Intermediate project planning

Qualifications

  • Formal Engineering Qualifications would be beneficial.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but will need to obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance once in post.
