About the Role

The role
As a Process Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of solving complex engineering challenges that support critical national infrastructure. You'll contribute to projects that span clean energy, defence, and civil decommissioning, making a real impact on society and your career.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

  • Promoting effective collaboration across engineering and functional teams
  • Interfacing with customers and suppliers to resolve design issues and support procurement specifications
  • Applying procedures, codes and standards to engineering and technical activities
  • Communicating task and project risks appropriately
  • Contributing to the Product Safety Assessment process

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of three days on site, based at one of our key locations: Bristol, Warrington (Cheshire), or Humberside (East Yorkshire).

Essential Experience

  • Working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across varied project types
  • Demonstrating versatility across a range of engineering tasks
  • Effectively communicating and interfacing with other disciplines

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience
  • Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Further details are available at United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
