As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering projects that support critical defence, aerospace, and engineering programmes. You will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, making a real difference to national security and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects in line with established project delivery lifecycle processes.
- Define and maintain project governance, including roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures.
- Manage work packages to ensure successful delivery of project outputs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, risks, and performance to ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a project delivery team in an information technology or digital environment.
- Understanding of current technology, products, and services.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project (desirable).
- Aware of infrastructure or application technologies (advantageous).
- A foundation-level qualification in Project Management.
- Commitment to achieving further recognised certification such as PRINCE2, Association for Project Management, or equivalent.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
Working Hours & Location
This role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility on work location. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
