The Role
As a Senior Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes that support critical projects in defence, aerospace, and engineering. This role offers the chance to make a real impact - helping deliver solutions that protect lives and secure nations, while advancing your own career in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Lead and coordinate communications issued by the Effectors Business Unit, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Plan and deliver internal events, including site visits, team briefings, and engagement activities.
- Oversee administrative support to the Facilities team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all three Effectors locations.
- Provide senior-level administrative support, managing complex tasks and processes with minimal supervision.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance team efficiency.
- Provide dedicated administrative support to the teams based at our Devonport and Ashton sites, helping to ensure efficient and effective site operations.
- Support the Head of Operations and wider leadership team with diary management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite and days working from home.
Essential Experience of the Senior Administrator
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or team lead role.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Experience supporting communications, SharePoint management, and/or event planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
Qualifications for the Senior Administrator
- Vocational training or equivalent experience in administration or business support.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
