As a HR Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of our Contracts and Onboarding (C&O) team, supporting new starters and existing employees across all Babcock sites. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your work will directly contribute to the smooth onboarding of talent into our business, helping us deliver critical services that protect nations and communities.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Supporting and managing cases from the People Advisor Team, ensuring service level agreements are met
- Facilitating the administration of employment contracts and onboarding processes
- Engaging with hiring managers and candidates to provide timely updates
- Recording HR data accurately and aligning with payroll deadlines
- Collaborating with the wider PeopleCentre team to deliver a seamless employee experience
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills

Qualifications
- Standard Grades including English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 (desired but not essential)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. This role is located at our Devonport site, near Plymouth, Devon. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
