The role
As a Built Asset Security Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. From developing robust security strategies to managing risks and safeguarding Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, your work will protect critical infrastructure and contribute to national security. Day-to-day, you’ll be a key enabler for Major Infrastructure Projects, ensuring the physical and digital security of sensitive assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Overseeing physical and digital security for major construction projects and existing assets.
- Developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures across the asset lifecycle.
- Managing security-minded BIM processes and ensuring compliance with ISO 19650:5 standards.
- Assessing supply chain partners, verifying cyber credentials, and onboarding them to secure systems.
- Responding to security incidents and maintaining security plans and registers.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Built Asset Security Manager
- Proven experience in security-minded BIM and digital built environments.
- Strong understanding of security threats, risk management, and cybersecurity within infrastructure projects.
- Ability to assess supply chain cyber credentials and manage onboarding to secure Common Data Environments.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining security strategies, plans, and incident management processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650:5 standards, defence and nuclear regulations, and built environment controls.
Qualifications for the Built Asset Security Manager
- Minimum HNC, degree, or diploma in a relevant discipline.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
