Reporting to the Administration Manager, you'll support day‑to‑day security administration by issuing, controlling, and recording passes and permits. You'll work closely with guardroom staff, vetting agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure all access requests are processed accurately and in line with MOD and company requirements.
Responsibilities
- Issue permanent and temporary passes and permits, providing guidance on application processes
- Maintain secure control and custody of passes and permits prior to issue
- Carry out security vetting checks for dependants, contractors, and authorised personnel
- Liaise with UK vetting agencies to confirm and maintain valid security clearances
- Receive, record, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence linked to passes and permits
Qualifications
- Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail
- Confidence working with sensitive information in a secure environment
- Competence using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Clear communication skills and a professional, customer‑focused approach
- Ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role
