In this site-based role, you will lead piping and mechanical construction work packages for one of Europe's largest nuclear projects. You'll coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and clients to ensure safe, compliant, construction-ready documentation and deliverables. You'll guide on-site teams, monitor progress, and uphold nuclear safety and quality throughout the construction lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of piping and mechanical construction work packages for on-site installation activities.
- Coordinate documentation with engineering teams, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide on-site technical guidance to construction personnel for safe and efficient delivery.
- Monitor progress against schedules and prioritise deliverables to hit milestones.
- Champion nuclear safety, quality standards and continuous improvement across construction lifecycle.
- Work onsite at Hinkley Point C, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate MEH, cabling and support services.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering mechanical and piping systems on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Experience in highly regulated sectors (nuclear, power, oil and gas, defence, rail, petrochemical).
- Strong understanding of construction work packages, documentation and installation processes.
- Experience coordinating contractors, engineers and client stakeholders across complex projects.
- Knowledge of safe systems of work and commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
