The role
As IT Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with project teams, technical specialists and business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities and deliver effective technology solutions. This role offers the chance to influence strategic projects, support business change and develop your expertise across a diverse portfolio of programmes and initiatives. You’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where your ideas and insights will directly contribute to successful project outcomes and lasting business improvements.
Responsibilities
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements to support project objectives and business outcomes.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops to identify needs, define solutions and build consensus across teams.
- Modelling business processes and data flows to support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Supporting requirements management throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring clarity and traceability.
- Collaborating with project delivery, technical and business teams across multiple concurrent projects to deliver successful solutions.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience
- Demonstrable experience working in a Business Analyst role within a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methods, processes and best practice techniques.
- Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using business analysis tools, techniques and process modelling methodologies.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and its application within technology projects.
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- Professional Business Analysis certifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
