The role:

As a Programme Manager, you will take on a pivotal leadership role at the heart of some of the United Kingdom’s most important infrastructure programmes. Supporting major projects such as Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, you will lead the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning programmes within the MEH Alliance.

This role is full time, based at any of our main UK locations, including Bristol, Newbury, Leicester, Glasgow, Warrington. Hybrid working patterns are available, with travel to project and customer sites as required.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Lead programme delivery across multiple large-scale nuclear projects, ensuring performance against cost, schedule and quality targets.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, acting as a key interface with customers, partners and internal teams.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks and opportunities to drive successful outcomes.
  • Oversee financial management, forecasting and commercial performance of programmes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to allocate resources and deliver strategic objectives.

Essential experience of the Programme Manager:

  • Demonstrating significant experience applying advanced project and programme management techniques in regulated environments.
  • Managing full lifecycle delivery of large-scale, multi-million-pound projects or portfolios.
  • Showing strong commercial awareness, including contract and financial management expertise.
  • Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance.
  • Understanding financial controls and forecasting within complex project environments.

Qualifications for the Programme Manager:

  • A relevant professional qualification in project or programme management would be advantageous.
  • Degree-level qualification in engineering, business, or a related discipline is desirable.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
