The role:
As a Project Planner, you'll be at the heart of major naval and maritime programmes, turning complexity into clarity. Working closely with project teams, engineers and stakeholders, you'll develop, maintain and analyse integrated project schedules that enable confident decisions, strong governance and successful delivery.
Day to day you'll be required to:
- Developing, baselining and maintaining integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with scope, resources, cost and milestones
- Updating and analysing schedules, including critical path, progress, forecasting and estimates at completion
- Producing resource and cost loaded schedules to support financial reporting, integrated business planning and earned value management
- Supporting and facilitating planning workshops, rolling wave planning activities and alignment with suppliers and partners
- Providing planning insight for risk, scenario and change impact analysis to inform decision making and reporting
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements (3 days on site).
Essential experience of the Project Planner:
- Proven experience in network scheduling and project planning
- Ideally practical knowledge of Primavera P6. Consideration will be given to those with experience in Microsoft Project or similar network planning packages but it is essential to have knowledge and training in Primavera P6.
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to respond to changing priorities
Qualifications for the Project Planner:
- A degree or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates knowledge of project planning principles
- Membership of, or alignment with, a recognised professional or industry body is advantageous

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
