The role
As a Project Controller, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be a vital part of our Project Management Office, supporting the delivery of a fast paced portfolio of complex infrastructure projects within our marine sector. You'll bring clarity, control and insight to programmes that truly matter, working with diverse technical and commercial teams to ensure projects remain on track, on time and within budget.
Day to day you'll be required to:
- Supporting the development of project packs, governance reports and performance metrics
- Maintaining baseline budgets, cost control processes and earned value management data
- Managing schedules, change control activity and project documentation
- Developing and maintaining risk and opportunity registers, tracking mitigation actions
- Engaging with multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders to support delivery
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Project Controller:
- Recent, relevant experience in a project controls or project management environment
- Understanding and hands on experience of earned value management principles
- Experience working within complex, regulated or infrastructure led sectors
- Confidence analysing cost, schedule and performance data
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications for the Project Controller:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline - desirable
- A professional qualification such as APM, Association for Cost Engineering, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent - desirable
- Knowledge of NEC4 contracting principles - desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
