As an Electrical Production Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of an experienced and growing team, delivering complex engineering support to our many projects., Day-to-day, the Production Engineer work scope entails producing production planning, risk assessments, supervision of technicians and engineering support for assembly, wiring and test activities on a variety of electrical and electronic assemblies, including reactor in-core inspection and safety circuit equipment.

Overseeing the assembly and wiring of small electronic modules, boxes, and units, as well as electrical/electronic control and indication panels and cubicles, to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.

Supervising the assembly of PCBs (Hand soldered through-hole PCB technology) and cable assemblies to IPC Standards, ensuring that all work meets quality and safety requirements. IPC training can be provided to the successful candidate.

Reviewing and verifying test results for Analogue Circuit PCBs and electrical equipment, ensuring that all testing is conducted in accordance with approved test documentation and procedures.

Providing guidance and oversight for on-machine wiring of electrical and electronic devices, including cable management and termination, to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Leading fault investigation and repair efforts for analogue electronics equipment incorporating linear power supplies, including ensuring that all steps are properly documented and recorded)
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at our manufacturing site in Blaby.
- Relevant experience in a Production / Assembly / Test environment
Qualifications for Electrical Production Engineer
- HNC or relevant qualification
