The role involves leading the strategy, frameworks and systems that ensure robust governance, effective oversight and high-quality insight across the organisation. Your work will directly support Senior Leaders, Executives and the Board with clear, evidence-based intelligence to enable confident, informed decision-making.
You will influence Executive and Board-level thinking by delivering clear, evidence-based insights that drive accountability and strengthen performance. This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide frameworks and systems, enhancing transparency and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across a complex international environment.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Leading the design and delivery of governance, assurance, and reporting frameworks across the organisation
- Driving risk-based assurance programmes to evaluate system effectiveness and regulatory compliance
- Developing high-quality management information, dashboards, and reporting for Executive and Board stakeholders
- Establishing policies, standards, and systems that enable strong accountability and consistent decision-making
- Engaging with Regulators and Auditors, ensuring audit readiness and delivering robust, evidence-based insights
The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office and days working from home.
Essential Experience:
- Extensive senior leadership experience within governance, reporting, and assurance in complex, regulated organisations
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-wide governance frameworks and executive-level reporting
- Strong experience leading risk-based assurance programmes and driving measurable business improvement
- Deep understanding of enterprise risk management and internal control frameworks
- Experience engaging with regulators and auditors, including audit preparation and inspection readiness
Qualifications:
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
- Relevant professional qualifications or memberships (such as Institute of Internal Auditors, Institute of Risk Management, or Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) are desirable
