In this Construction Piping Engineer role, you will lead piping and mechanical construction work packages on the Hinkley Point C project as part of the MEH Alliance. You will coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliant, construction-ready documentation and progress. You'll guide construction teams, uphold nuclear safety and quality standards, and drive deliverables on a large, highly regulated site. Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of piping and mechanical construction work packages for site installation
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and construction-ready
- Support and guide construction personnel with technical expertise for safe, efficient project delivery
- Monitor progress against project schedules and prioritize deliverables to meet milestones
- Champion nuclear safety, quality standards and continuous improvement throughout the construction lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering mechanical and piping systems on large-scale construction or engineering projects
- Experience in highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, power generation, oil and gas, defence, rail or petrochemical industries
- Strong understanding of construction work packages, technical documentation and installation processes
- Experience coordinating contractors, engineers and client stakeholders across complex project environments
- Knowledge of safe systems of work and a strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards
