As an Administrator, you will be at the heart of a site that supports nationally significant defence and clean‑energy programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop broad experience across multiple functions in a dynamic and purpose‑driven environment. This is a 37‑hour per week position, based on site, five days per week at our Moor Row, Cumbria site.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- Welcome visitors, issue passes and guide them through building procedures.
- Arrange meetings and book rooms to support the smooth running of daily operations.
- Use systems such as SAP to raise orders and complete time bookings.
- Act as the first point of contact for general administrative tasks.
- Support invoicing, document control and occasional customer queries.
Qualifications:
- Essential: GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) or NVQ Level 2 in Administration.
- Confident user of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach.
- Preferred: Experience using SAP, Coupa or similar systems.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
