The role
As a Project Controls Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of the Sizewell C programme, one of the UK’s largest and most high profile infrastructure projects. This is not routine reporting - it’s an opportunity to bring clarity, confidence and control to a nationally significant project that will impact generations to come.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Maintain accurate cost and schedule data within project controls systems
- Prepare monthly reports aligned to governance and business reporting cycles
- Support cost forecasting, estimating and schedule development, including assumptions
- Contribute to risk management activities, impact analysis and cost modelling
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across engineering, commercial and delivery teams
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, based at our Stoke Gifford, Bristol site. Hybrid working patterns are available. You will work a minimum of two days on site.
Essential experience of the Project Controls Engineer:
- Previous experience within project controls, cost engineering or finance
- A working understanding of planning, cost engineering, estimating or risk concepts
- Experience supporting projects in regulated or complex environments
- Confidence working with data, reporting and assurance processes
- The ability to collaborate effectively with multi disciplinary stakeholders
Qualifications for the Project Controls Engineer:
- Graduate level qualification or equivalent professional experience (essential)
- Professional development in project controls, cost management or planning (advantageous)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
