This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.

The role involves leading the delivery of accurate, timely and insight-driven performance reporting across a major clean energy programme. This is a permanent role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Lead the production of accurate, integrated weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Analyse trends, variances and key performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities and forecast impacts.
  • Coordinate reporting inputs across delivery teams, functions and alliance partners.
  • Develop integrated dashboards covering schedule, cost, progress, productivity, risk and change metrics.
  • Improve reporting effectiveness through standardisation, automation and digital reporting tools.

Essential experience includes:

  • Extensive experience within project controls, programme controls or project reporting environments.
  • Strong experience producing performance reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience using project controls toolsets, including performance analysis, variance reporting, trend analysis and change control management.
  • Experience working with enterprise project controls systems and reporting platforms.
  • Full project lifecycle experience from project initiation through to completion.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering or Project Management.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
