The role is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.
Day-to-day, you'll be required to:
- Maintain and update payroll trackers, ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Collect, log and distribute payroll forms, including holiday, absence, lodge and pay query documentation.
- Produce payroll reports and support the creation of payroll metrics and management information.
- Assist with payroll-related inductions and provide administrative support including document management, spreadsheets and meeting notes.
- Respond to payroll queries and support the wider payroll team to deliver an excellent employee experience.
This role is based at Hinkley Point C. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rotational later shift approximately once every eight weeks. The role is primarily site-based, with home working on Fridays.
Essential experience of the Payroll Coordinator:
- Experience working in a fast-paced administrative environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Experience within payroll administration or payroll support would be advantageous.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be a sole UK national and able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
