Support aviation operations through effective warehousing and stock control. At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Aviation business, based on site at RAF Halton, supporting the HADES programme. This is a practical, hands‑on role within Clothing Stores, supporting logistics and supply chain activity that enables aviation operations to run smoothly and efficiently.
The role involves:
- Issuing, receiving, and storing stock in line with supply chain and warehouse procedures.
- Carrying out physical stocktaking and supporting stock reconciliations as required.
- Assisting with kitting activities in support of RAF recruit requirements.
- Completing warehouse documentation and system transactions accurately.
- Maintaining housekeeping, safety, and cleanliness standards across warehouse areas.
This is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Thursday 08:00‑17:00 and Friday 08:00‑16:00.
Essential experience:
- A reliable team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Good attention to detail and a safety‑focused approach.
- Confidence using basic IT systems and warehouse applications.
- Willingness to follow procedures and support operational priorities.
Qualifications:

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
