As an Aviation Tool Stores Supervisor, you will support aircraft maintenance operations by ensuring all tools and equipment are controlled, maintained, and available when needed. Working within a regulated aviation environment, your accuracy and attention to detail will directly contribute to safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Managing the acceptance, storage, issue, and return of tools and equipment
  • Ensuring all tooling is correctly identified, labelled, and recorded in line with regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records of tool condition, location, and usage at all times
  • Supporting tool calibration, inspection programmes, and audit activities
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages, damage, or discrepancies

This is a full‑time, onsite role based at RAF Valley, working 36 hours per week.

Essential Experience

  • Working within a tool store, logistics, or engineering support environment
  • Managing tool control systems and maintaining accurate records and traceability
  • Supporting stock control, inventory management, and reporting processes
  • Understanding tool calibration, servicing, and safe storage requirements
  • Working within a regulated or safety‑critical environment, ideally aviation
  • Previous experience in tool control in an aviation environment (technical or logistics background)

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
  • Relevant experience in aviation, engineering, or logistics environments (advantageous)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. Many positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and trade control restrictions.
