At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an Associate Service Delivery Manager at our Babcock Technology Centre site. As an Associate Service Delivery Manager, you'll support the delivery and performance of a portfolio of IT services and contracts, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. Working at the heart of our digital and defence operations, you will play a key role in maintaining service performance, supporting customers and enabling mission‑critical systems. Day‑to‑day, you'll have an exciting opportunity to develop your career in IT service management within a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment. You'll work with internal teams, suppliers and customers, gaining exposure to service improvement, stakeholder engagement and service lifecycle management, building valuable experience in defence, digital services and engineering environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery and performance of IT services, ensuring SLA and KPI targets are met
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and third‑party service providers
  • Producing and analysing service reports covering incident, change, release and problem management
  • Supporting incident resolution, service requests and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to service development, contract renewals and customer proposals

This role is full‑time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working.

Essential Experience

  • Experience working within IT service management or service delivery environments
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management standards such as ISO20000 or ISO9000
  • Understanding of software support processes and service lifecycle activities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels
  • Experience working in a matrix or complex organisational environment

Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation (or higher) qualification – Essential

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
