As an Asset Administrator, you will help ensure that essential military equipment is accurately tracked, managed and available when needed. This is a role with a real purpose, contributing to the smooth and effective delivery of equipment that supports defence operations across the UK. You will work closely with our fleet and service delivery teams, gaining valuable experience in asset management, logistics and customer support. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate asset information by updating Babcock IT systems and the fleet management system.
  • Administer the issue and receipt of military equipment, ensuring data is consistently recorded.
  • Support the wider team with customer requests and equipment status updates.
  • Prioritise tasks and make informed decisions in a busy and fast-paced environment.
  • React to changes in demand while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

Qualifications:

  • Competent PC user with experience across Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint and ERP systems.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Ability to make rational decisions using the information available.
  • Ability to prioritise work with limited resources.
  • Confidence working in a changing environment and responding to evolving demands.
  • Educated to Level 3 in the National Qualification Framework or equivalent, or relevant workplace experience.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
