Overview

As a Commercial Manager in the Mission System sector, you will drive business and the Dreadnought contract forward.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contract management and governance support to the project team.
  • Negotiate and price activities for organic and new growth opportunities.
  • Create and execute commercial strategies to achieve success.
  • Mentor and guide other commercial staff, sharing best practice and providing recommendations.
  • Act as the commercial point of contact for all queries from the project team.
  • Lead a team of commercial staff across a range of Support contracts.

Essential Experience

  • Understanding of single-source contracts is desirable but not required.
  • Commercially driven with the ability to identify commercial innovation and business awareness of customers and competitors.
  • Experience in creating proposals for organic growth or new opportunities.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and understanding contracts (defence sector preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification (MCIPS, IACCM, PGCCM) or equivalent (not essential).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
