The Experis Academy offers a unique opportunity to be trained and upskilled to become highly skilled Cost Specialists working for Cavendish Nuclear. This apprenticeship programme trains and develops wider talent pools to become permanent members of industry leading customers. You will work within a delivery environment supporting Cost Specialist activities for projects and programmes, collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex problems in the nuclear and infrastructure space. The programme provides training in project management, planning and controls, Primavera, Excel, and soft skills such as negotiation, presentation, emotional intelligence and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and collate all project cost data.
- Produce revenue and cost reports.
- Provide forward looking trends and variance analysis information, identifying expected project cost performance and comparisons against applicable project performance targets.
- Facilitate re‑forecasting exercises with the project team to ensure accurate forecasting.
- Ensure cost reporting alignment with the project WBS.
- Assist with monthly billing.
- Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes, and manage projects to ensure on‑time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, gaining exposure to the wider business and opportunities across Cavendish Nuclear and Babcock.
