At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Process Engineer, at one of our key locations: Bristol, Warrington (Cheshire), or Humberside (East Yorkshire).
The role
As a Process Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of solving complex engineering challenges that support critical national infrastructure. You’ll contribute to projects that span clean energy, defence, and civil decommissioning, making a real impact on society and your career.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Promoting effective collaboration across engineering and functional teams
- Interfacing with customers and suppliers to resolve design issues and support procurement specifications
- Applying procedures, codes and standards to engineering and technical activities
- Communicating task and project risks appropriately
- Contributing to the Product Safety Assessment process
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of three days on site, based at one of our key locations: Bristol, Warrington (Cheshire), or Humberside (East Yorkshire).
Essential experience of the Process Engineer:
- Working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across varied project types
- Demonstrating versatility across a range of engineering tasks
- Communicating effectively and interfacing with other disciplines
Qualifications for the Process Engineer:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience
- Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
