Role

As Enterprise Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how technology enables our business to deliver critical defence, aerospace and engineering programmes. This is a strategic, high-impact position where you’ll influence enterprise-wide decisions, align technology with business objectives, and ensure our digital landscape evolves to meet future challenges. You’ll work at the heart of our corporate services function, collaborating with senior leaders and technical teams to create scalable, secure and forward-thinking architecture. Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Leading enterprise architecture discussions and influencing senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Developing and maintaining technology strategies aligned to business goals
  • Establishing architectural principles, standards and governance across all domains
  • Creating and presenting enterprise architecture models and roadmaps
  • Identifying opportunities to optimise platforms through consolidation, reuse and innovation

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office and days working from home.

Essential Experience:

  • Strong experience in enterprise or solution architecture and architecture modelling tools
  • Translating business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps
  • Interpreting complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions
  • Aligning technology architecture with organisational goals and priorities
  • Working with modern technologies such as microservices, APIs, data platforms and cybersecurity principles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as TOGAF, MCSE, CCNA or equivalent (preferred)

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This may affect your eligibility for certain roles based on place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
