Lead the People Strategy That Powers National Defence

Responsibilities
  • Leading all HR operations and project delivery at our West Midlands Production Facility
  • Providing expert guidance to senior stakeholders and line managers on complex employee relations and organisational challenges
  • Supporting and mentoring the on-site HR Advisor to ensure consistent HR service delivery
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships with trade union representatives
  • Balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential Experience
  • Leading HR conversations across diverse, complex organisations and delivering full-spectrum Business Partnering
  • Driving change and challenging the status quo within a business context
  • Demonstrating success in Employee and Industrial Relations
  • Applying technical HR expertise in areas such as reorganisation, redundancy, TUPE, bid support and mobilisation
  • Navigating employment law and managing change in unionised environments
Qualifications

There are no essential qualifications required for this role. However, relevant HR certifications or CIPD membership would be advantageous.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
