As an Engineering Administrator, you’ll provide vital administrative and operational support to a multidisciplinary engineering team. Your work will help ensure engineering activities run smoothly, documentation is maintained accurately, and projects remain aligned with customer requirements and company standards. This is a great opportunity to build experience within a highly collaborative engineering environment while contributing to work that supports national defence capabilities.

Day to day you’ll be required to:

  • Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas and minutes and updating internal databases and systems.
  • Support engineers with project administration, reports, and technical documentation and manage and maintain engineering documentation, records, and filing systems.
  • Arrange travel, process expenses, and order office supplies and equipment.
  • Obtain technical Repair and Maintenance Information via Vehicle Manufacturer portals.
  • Provide data input support into Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Product Data Management (PDM) tools.

The role is based on site at Walsall, and the set working times are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Essential experience of the Engineering Administrator:

  • Administration experience within an engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Navision or similar systems, advantageous.
