The role involves cleaning vehicles, carrying out basic maintenance checks and supporting the team with associated tasks across a busy fleet environment.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

  • Refuelling, washing, cleaning and carrying out basic roadworthiness checks on fleet vehicles.
  • Keeping the DI (Daily Inspection) bays clean, tidy and ready for use.
  • Reporting any health and safety issues or incidents to the Senior Controller.
  • Supporting the Transport Services Manager and wider team with routine tasks as required.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and upholding high operational standards.

This is a part‑time role based onsite at RAF High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, working 20 hours per week across five days per week, with 4-hour shifts starting between 14:00 and 16:00.

Essential experience:

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence with no restrictions.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
