If you join us, you can play your part as a Mechanical Technical Officer at our Donnington site, located in Telford, Shropshire. Compensation is £33,519 + Benefits. The role is full‑time and permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle support of Test and Measurement Equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance, calibration, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and engineering records.
- Support procurement activities and supplier performance management.
- Monitor equipment compliance, availability, and ongoing support requirements.
Essential Experience
- Experience working within a project‑based environment.
- Experience producing or managing technical documentation.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting engineering or technical equipment activities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple workstreams and priorities.
Qualifications
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics apprenticeship.
- Engineering qualification to ONC level or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance. National security clearance and Trade Control restrictions may affect eligibility based on place of birth, nationality, citizenship, and residency.
