The role

As a Business Change Support Officer, you'll join Project NEXUS and support the successful delivery of business improvement initiatives across Procurement and Supply Chain. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a major transformation programme, helping to coordinate change activities, engage stakeholders, monitor progress, and ensure key improvement projects are delivered successfully.

Working closely with the Business Change Manager and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll gain valuable exposure to project delivery, business improvement, governance, and change management, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project or change management.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities across the programme.
  • Tracking project actions, milestones, risks, and progress to support successful delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
  • Supporting reporting, governance, and business change activities.
  • Helping ensure improvement initiatives are implemented effectively and on schedule.
  • This is a fixed term contract for 9 months, working full-time, 37 hours per week role based at Donnington with hybrid working patterns available, typically requiring 2 to 3 days per week on site.

    Essential experience of the Business Change Support Officer:

  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Experience tracking actions, maintaining documentation, and managing deadlines.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting-related tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships.
  • Qualifications for the Business Change Support Officer:

    Level 4 qualification within the National Qualifications Framework, such as:

  • Higher Apprenticeship
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC)
  • Level 4 NVQ
  • Or equivalent workplace experience.
  • Security Clearance

    The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
