The role
As a Storage Capacity and Capability Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work closely with Project, Production and Supply Chain teams to understand Warehouse and Logistics requirements for the Effectors Business Unit. Alongside storage capacity planning, capability requirements will need to be understood to create a strategic capability matrix.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a crucial role liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure the Warehouse and Logistics function meet current and future Operational storage demands
- Strong collaboration with stakeholders across several disciplines
- Collection of storage demand data
- Creation of capacity planning reports
- Data analysis to understand trends in capacity peaks and risk
- Optimisation of existing storage capacity
- Liaising with 3PL provider
- Conduct internal meetings to drive out demand
- Input into storage costs for new bids
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential Experience Of The Storage Capacity And Capability Planner
- Confident ability to interface with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Highly experienced in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other data/forecasting sources
- Strong analytical skills, existing predictive modelling techniques highly desirable
- Organised and accurate approach to work activities
