The role involves designing, configuring, and supporting security and authorizations for Babcock ERP applications, including SAP, SuccessFactors, Business Technology Platform, SAP IdM, SAP Service Cloud, SAP Field Services, Solution Manager, Security Weaver GRC products, and other non-SAP Cloud Products.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical and configuration support for SAP and non-SAP authorizations and roles across supported systems.
- Developing security roles to minimize business risk and ensure segregation of duties.
- Understanding business processes to develop access controls and resolve user access issues.
- Participating in user access requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation.
- Proposing best practice alternatives across supported technologies.
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, based near our Lakeside Portsmouth site or at a key Babcock hub such as Bristol, Plymouth, or London, with hybrid working and occasional travel.
Essential experience:
- Hands-on SAP Security support and configuration experience with more than 3 implementations.
- Understanding of SAP authorization concepts, including roles and role derivation.
- Technical skills in SAP security, covering main functional areas and Basis components.
- Experience in designing and deploying SAP security and authorization solutions.
- Supporting user access across multiple SAP modules and systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Coupa, Portal, PO/PI, Gateway).
- Experience with security, authorizations, and user access in SuccessFactors and other SAP/non-SAP cloud systems.
Qualifications:
- A university degree or relevant experience in Security or Information Management.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance. Many roles require national security clearance and are subject to restrictions based on nationality, citizenship, and residency.
