The role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and is based on site at Rosyth, Fife.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Providing expert safety, health and environmental advice to the Facilities team and wider stakeholders
- Conducting planned audits and inspections, identifying compliance gaps and improvement opportunities
- Producing clear, actionable reports with corrective actions following audits and inspections
- Monitoring contractor activities, ensuring compliance with legal, safety and environmental standards
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Construction Design and Management, ensuring requirements are embedded in all relevant activities
Essential Experience Of The Safety Health Environmental Protection Advisor:
- Proven knowledge of facilities management and building compliance, including fire safety, asbestos, Legionella, F-Gas and lifting regulations
- Demonstrated experience carrying out governance audits and inspections
- Experience working within a large, complex or highly regulated organisation
- Ability to create high-quality presentations to communicate insights and findings
- Confidence presenting to a professional and diverse audience
Qualifications For The Safety Health Environmental Protection Advisor:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement)
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Additional safety, environmental or facilities-related qualifications would be advantageous
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
