The role:

  • Lead Infrastructure, Construction and Refurbishment Projects of varying size, value, and complexity through the full project lifecycle ensuring adherence to outlined cost, scheduling and risk baselines.
  • Provide construction governance, technical and design support to internal and external stakeholders including third party subcontractors.
  • Manage the construction process on a day-to-day basis, supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, inspecting work, checking materials, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Plan and monitor the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Project Sponsors to agree on project plans and deliver regular Monthly Review Reports highlighting progress, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance structures for project delivery, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities in alignment with the company’s Business Management System.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, manage project staffing, and lead collaboration with the design team including architects, engineers, and contractors.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week worked across 4 and a half days, Monday to Thursday from 8am – 4.30pm and Fridays 8am until 1pm. This role is based on site at Rosyth Dockyard, Fife. Flexibility will be provided in terms of hybrid working when required however, due to the nature of this role it will predominantly be site based.

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience within a Construction / Infrastructure focussed Project Management role.
  • Proven delivery experience adhering to set cost, schedule and quality standards.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of CDM 2015 Regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards.
  • Able to lead and encourage others to foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
