What you’ll do:
- Driving strategic cost planning by developing robust pre-tender estimates and evaluating design alternatives.
- Delivering insightful financial reporting to support project and client decision-making.
- Shaping project budgets in collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Supporting high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favourable commercial outcomes.
- Monitoring financial performance and recommending corrective actions to maintain profitability.
What you’ll need:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying or a related discipline.
- Professional membership or accreditation (e.g., RICS) is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of building and construction practices.
- Experience with Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts.
- Proficiency in NEC3 or NEC4 contract frameworks.
- Specialism in a relevant field such as Civils, Building, Mechanical or Commercial.
- A drive to own and shape your career development journey.
- Background in project management.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
