As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We have opportunities for Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on a wide range of projects. You’ll be at the heart of some of the UK’s most critical defence infrastructure projects. What you’ll do:

  • Driving strategic cost planning by developing robust pre-tender estimates and evaluating design alternatives.
  • Delivering insightful financial reporting to support project and client decision-making.
  • Shaping project budgets in collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Supporting high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Monitoring financial performance and recommending corrective actions to maintain profitability.

What you’ll need:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying or a related discipline.
  • Professional membership or accreditation (e.g., RICS) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of building and construction practices.
  • Experience with Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts.
  • Proficiency in NEC3 or NEC4 contract frameworks.
  • Background in project management.
  • Specialism in a relevant field such as Civils, Building, Mechanical or Commercial.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
