Overview of the Senior Integration Engineer role at Babcock International Group – Plymouth, Devon with hybrid working arrangements. Compensation: £43,935 + Benefits. Role Type: Full time / Permanent.
The role involves ensuring systems and facilities integrate seamlessly to meet operational requirements, supporting national security while advancing your career in a dynamic, innovative environment. Day-to-day, you’ll contribute to delivering complex engineering projects that support the UK’s defence capability.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Interface Management process as part of the Integration team
- Reviewing and coordinating the Product Breakdown Structure and updating the System Interface Matrix
- Running Integration Workshops and Interface Review Meetings with Design Leads and Design Houses
- Liaising with BIM Coordinators to identify spatial interfaces and constraints in the Federated Model
- Reporting on interface status to the Operations and Integration Manager
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge of process optimisation and human interface management
- Civil construction site experience
- Support builderswork and penetration procedure
Desirable:
- Experience developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and procedure management information
- Submarine maintenance production engineering experience in a dockyard environment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards), registered with the Engineering Council
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
