Role Overview
As a Senior Cost Controller, you’ll enhance project performance and stability through the collection, analysis, and reporting of meaningful cost information, enabling informed decision‑making at program and project levels. You will make a real impact on national security while advancing your career in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing actuals against multiple cost performance baselines
- Managing change across performance baselines
- Producing internal and external monthly reporting
- Conducting data analysis and providing recommendations
- Coordinating forecasts from activity owners
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential Experience
- Experience in a cost control or cost management environment
- Understanding of project controls, including cost control, earned value, finance, scheduling, or estimating
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Data analysis experience with proficiency in Excel
- Personal effectiveness and drive
Qualifications
- Degree‑level education or APMP qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with cost management systems (e.g. Cobra, Ecosys)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
