The role involves:

  • Leading and managing integrated project teams to deliver nuclear engineering projects successfully.
  • Planning, monitoring and controlling project scope, schedule, cost, risk and change.
  • Owning customer and stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Managing resources, finances and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Providing clear leadership, coaching and escalation support to ensure team performance and delivery assurance.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 4 days in the office/onsite.

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex engineering or infrastructure projects within regulated environments.
  • Strong capability across core project management disciplines, including planning, risk, cost and change control.
  • Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams within a matrix organisation.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, including engagement with customers and senior leaders.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and develop teams to achieve high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Degree‑level qualification.
  • Commercial or Financial Management Qualification.
  • APM Project Management Qualification.
  • APM Chartered Project Professional status.
  • APM Project Risk Management qualification.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
