We’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Document Controller at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.
Role: Full‑time, 35 hours per week, hybrid working. Set working times: Monday‑Thursday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm; Friday 7:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient administrative and document control support to multiple teams within Nuclear Operations
- Create, record, file, distribute and securely dispose of documentation in line with procedures
- Manage SharePoint sites and maintain accurate, organised document management systems
- Attend meetings, take minutes and ensure timely distribution of records and supporting documentation
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to coordinate meetings and respond to routine enquiries
Essential experience:
- Experience working within an office or administrative environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with SharePoint systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent – Essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent – Desirable
Security clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
