What We're Looking For

You will be an experienced people-focused leader with a track record of delivering successful change within operational environments.

The role

As Change Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver sustainable change across warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for embedding new ways of working, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring people are engaged, supported, and equipped throughout the change journey.

You will:

  • Lead and coordinate change management activities across key logistics transformation programmes.
  • Develop and implement change plans that support strategic and operational objectives.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to build commitment and drive successful adoption.
  • Analyse operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, communications, and training activities to support organisational readiness.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.
  • Coach and support leaders and teams through periods of change and transformation.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based in Plymouth.

Essential experience of the Logistics Capability Manager

  • Extensive experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading change, transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical business improvements.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and digital literacy skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, distribution, or other operational environments.
  • Formal change management qualification or training.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CILT, CMI, APM).
