As a Business Support Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Supporting a fast‑paced and high‑performing team within our warships sector, you’ll go beyond traditional administration—using your initiative, judgement, and organisational skills to manage priorities and enable success across the business. Day‑to‑day, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to build your career in defence, aerospace and engineering, where every task you complete contributes to something bigger. You’ll work closely with stakeholders at all levels, gaining valuable exposure while developing skills in coordination, communication, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support including managing schedules, travel arrangements and documentation
- Coordinating site visits, access requirements, and welfare arrangements for teams and visitors
- Prioritising competing demands and ensuring tasks are delivered efficiently and on time
- Supporting office operations during busy periods and contributing to team effectiveness
- Handling sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
