At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. We are looking for a Maths Tutor to teach Level 2 Maths to Army apprentices at MOD Lyneham, near Chippenham, Wiltshire. Compensation is £37,310 plus benefits. The role is full time, permanent, and based onsite at MOD Lyneham with working times Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face Level 2 Maths courses, including algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, to cohorts of up to 16 learners.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to support learner progress and assessment readiness.
- Carry out invigilation, assessments, and maintain accurate learner records in line with awarding body and ESFA standards.
- Collaborate with quality, compliance, and delivery teams to ensure programme standards are met.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to diverse learner needs, including SPLDs and neurodiverse requirements.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience delivering Maths at Level 2.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Education.
